Positivity In Mind and Body

Unconditional Love  –  Unconditional Acceptance

I  would  like to  share  with  you a  piece  I  have  found that  I find  particularly beautiful.  It  is  simple and  honest  and  the  sentiment within  its lines touched me.  I hope you  enjoy  it  and  find within  it the  same beauty and love  that I  experienced.

Blessings  to you all

A good friend once told me that when I found myself lost in a whirlwind of chaos, or sadness to stop and literally count my blessings.  Very cliché, I know. Of course I found myself thinking the obvious…how am I going to do that?  Once I forced myself through it, I discovered a relief.  A relief that I doubted would ever come.  Yet here I am telling you.  I have to say, that even within the turmoil and sadness of what seems to be a prevalent morsel of life, there is so very much to be thankful for.  I’m not writing off any legitimate worries or struggles.  I understand that problems are very real.  However,  it does help to refocus your energy on to something more positive.

When you find yourself sitting alone in the dark and you can’t seem to find the door, crawl to the window.  Once open, you will experience the burst of fresh air that you so desperately longed for.  It was always there, yet you could not see, nor feel it.  That surge leaving only the unwavering truth behind. The truth of all that is valuable in your life, making all else seem temporary and insignificant. Only then can you genuinely appreciate your circumstances. What will you glean from your situation? Only through prayer, patience and clear thinking  will you discover the answer.

Here is to focusing on the blessings.  Hopefully, they will far outweigh the trials…

The Biology of Belief: An Interview with Dr. Bruce Lipton

From : May/ June 2005

BL: The new mechanism of evolution suggested by the new biology you describe in your book is one that
consists of repeating patterns of self-similarity; it is a pattern based upon fractal geometry*. The
significance of fractals is that they represent basic patterns that are iterated (repeated) over and over
again. If you can recognize a pattern at one level of the structure you can apply that awareness to
understand the patterns throughout the whole structure.
LG: Right, like the Fibonacci patterns** found in nature?
BL: Right, so basically the evolution of human civilization is self-similar the evolution of a single giant organism. We are *humans are the cells in that ‘ social’ organism. The relevance is that human civilization will evolve through the phases that characterized the evolution of animals, Human civilization will go through evolutionary phases that are redundant to previous evolution patterns. For example, in
the evolution of vertebrate animals, the pattern provided for fish, amphibians, reptiles, birds, and
mammals, an evolutionary jump occurred between each of these major classes of organisms, Civilization
is in the process of such a jump now, as we are evolving from a reptilian-based civilization to a
mammalian-based civilization. The intellectual character of our culture’s leadership is currently most
similar to that of reptilian behavior. And yet more advanced mammalian characters yourself and myself
are in the process of rewriting a new blueprint for civilization, different from the way we are living now.
Reptiles are ‘conscious,’ and do not express the trait of ‘self-consciousness.’ What that means is that
they live for the moment but they have no conception or vision about how their actions today affect
civilization tomoorow.

Thought IS creative – So why aren’t we creating what we want?

by: Joe Jennings

(NaturalNews) This idea is becoming more and more commonplace yet why aren’t we all living the lives we desire? This article will investigate the subconscious influence and how, by addressing it, we can create our dreams.

Probably the most commonplace example of thought being creative is that of the placebo effect, where treatments that may not be effective in some people, or may even be ‘sugar pills,’ have been shown to cure people who believe in them.

Bruce Lipton, PhD, writes of a study into knee surgery where the participants were split into three groups, two were given different surgical procedures, whilst the third, the placebo group, was simply cut open and sewed back up. The aim of the research was to discover which part of the surgery was giving the patients relief. The placebo group was only added to improve the quality of the study. No one believed that surgery could possibly be affected by the mind. Yet the results showed otherwise. Both groups that received surgical intervention improved, but shockingly; the placebo group improved just as much. Quoting the surgeon, Lipton writes, “My skill as a surgeon had no benefit to these patients. The entire benefit of the surgery for osteoarthritis of the knee was the placebo effect.” Quite a statement.

Gregg Braden also quotes a number of interesting studies. He mentions a very interesting one titled ‘Quantum theory demonstrated: Observation affects reality.’ This paper outlined how, simply by observing, we affect reality, our surroundings.

The subconscious influence

So, given that we create our reality, why are we not all living the lives we desire? Mahatma Gandhi hit the spot when he said, “Your beliefs become your thoughts, your thoughts become your words, your words become your actions, your actions become your habits, your habits become your values, your values become your destiny.” But if all we have to do is change our thoughts why are we still unable to manifest our perfect lives? Joel and Champion Teutsch understood this conundrum well.

“Instead of being isolated and apart from us, the subconscious constantly influence our thinking and behaviour. Their interaction with the conscious creates what may be fittingly called our consciousness, the sum-total of our beliefs, attitudes, feelings, thoughts, acts, ideas, experiences. Conversely, conscious learning – especially through repetition – steadily filters into the subconscious and from there into the unlimited unconscious.”

Thus, we can see now that it is our whole consciousness that creates our lives and so if we want to change our lives, we must work with our whole consciousness or, more importantly, we must include our subconscious. It is this part of our mind that, through the process of repetition, integrates different habits and then repeats them.

We commonly integrate erroneous and negative ideas about life, yet these beliefs encode and create our reality as much as the positive ones. For instance, our birth, our first experience of life. If we were treated roughly and without love, as many of us born in hospitals often were, it is likely that we would integrate the belief that the world is a dangerous, painful, unkind and/or unloving place. We also learn a huge amount from our parents, including how to relate to others, how well we can, or cannot express ourselves and our emotions, our prosperity and much more. Given that these beliefs create our reality, imagine what such beliefs could create in your life.

There are many tools that help in uncovering and releasing our subconscious junk, including breathwork, affirmations, visualization, meditation, certain energy work and many more.
