ACV is a successful and not an expensive multi-purpose cleaner, you can add it to your water, tea and salad for an invigorating punch and benefit from the various medical zing you’ll be accepting.

Why All The Fuss Over Apple Cider Vinegar?

The word vinegar means vin aigre, is french for “sour wine”. The restorative employments of vinegar date back to when it was found in 5000 BC by a courtier in Babylonia. MD’s amid the 18th century utilized it as a multi purpose treatment or ailments like dropsy, stomach ache and even diabetes. (1)

Apple Cider Vinegar is stacked with vitamins, minerals, and amino acids, its different compounds help with absorption and 1 Tbs equivalent is only 3 calories.

  1. Cleaning

ACV joined with 2 sections water makes a compelling regular disinfectant solution for all surfaces (3).

It’s amazingly moderate contrasted with commercial regular cleaning items and the odor is truly wonderful, you could include a couple drops of hoodlums oil and have an extraordinary antibacterial shower for countertops, restroom, kitchen and carpet deodorizer.

  1. Hair rinse

There’s another hair craze on the rise and it depends on the straightforward system for utilizing baking soda as a cleanser and ACV as a conditioning hair wash.

As opposed to spending loads on garbage free shampoos and conditioners, this “no poo” (short for shampoo) strategy for hair care lives up to expectations truly well and makes your hair super delicate.

On account of the pH adjusting impacts that ACV has, episodic reports claim it can include sparkle, delicate quality and split down build up from other hair items.

  1. Dandruff and Thinning Hair

The high acridity and capable compound in ACV slaughter the microbes in charge of dandruff and hair loss, battle bacilli, and fortifies our hair normal oils to discharge all the more adequately and saturate our scalps better. I additionally prescribe utilizing coconut oil for a dry scalp treatment.

Soak the scalp with ACV and let it stay that way for a couple of hours on the off chance that you can utilize the same treatment for thinning hair and irritated scalp (4).

  1. Pets

ACV is an incredible solution for repulsing insects from your dog’s skin, it’s absolutely sheltered to utilize so you don’t need to stress over your pet getting debilitated from licking.

It deals with pets the same way as with people, restoring the correct acid mantle of the skin to repulse organisms and different bugs.

You can likewise add Apple Cider Vinegar to your pets nourishment to keep a sound pH adjust in their gut and to avert hypersensitivities, hinder parasites, ringworm, ticks, growth and different organisms from attacking.

A 50 lb. dog would get around 2 tsp every day with nourishment, and in the event that you needed to utilize ACV remotely you could blend it 50:50 with water and place it in a splash jug, soaking the dog’s coat once a day (5).

Attempt this!

Tahini Apple Cider Vinegar Salad Dressing

  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 4 Tbs olive oil
  • ½ tsp sea salt
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 2 Tbs ACV

Most skin care items are on the soluble side of the pH scale, a few individuals take a stab at everything for their skin issues however nothing appears to work! The issue is most items are damaging the acid mantle, a defensive layer on our skin.

ACV is awesome in light of the fact that its acidity is closer to the characteristic pH of our skin, which keeps the acid mantle in place to carry out its employment, securing against germs and outside microbes which can be sustaining the skin issue.

On the off chance that you need to attempt ACV as a toner, simply join one section ACV with a few sections of water, you’ll need to include more water for exceptionally touchy skin.

Apply this mixture to your face subsequent to purifying and permit it to ingest into your skin.

Not just does ACV help separate mucous, it likewise has a characteristic anti-histamine impact.

Whether your affliction from occasional anaphylaxes, natural or pet related, ACV can diminish the sneezy, wheezy, uncomfortable side effects (7).

If you aren’t acquainted with candida abundance, view yourself as fortunate. Candida is a parasitic microbes which cause yeast excess prompting low vitality, poor processing, yeast contaminations, ulcer and other uncomfortable side effects.

Candida abundance happens frequently when a man has a poor diet, high in refined sugar and carbs, and it can assume control when the gut greenery traded off by anti-microbial utilize or birth control.

ACV is a compelling device in the unit of somebody attempting to free themselves of depleting candida. You can likewise take a gander at lemon water as a conceivable arrangement when treating Candida.

It meets expectations by helping advance better assimilation and a corrosive/soluble balance more adjusted to elevating solid microbes to at the end of the day flourish in the gut (8).

Vinegar has been utilized as a cure for foot fungus and is great for killing molds.

Since yeast is a growth, ACV would help in keeping the parasite under control, despite the fact that to date there hasn’t been any particular examination of ACV specifically as a candida executioner.

My fiance and I decided that we had finally started our life together in our own place and they allowed pets. Having both come from houses full of dogs and cats over the course of growing up, we decided on a cat to start due to the independence factor and our busy schedules. We looked online for older cats at a shelter near where we grew up, and found several that seemed like they might be what we were looking to adopt. I called the shelter and searched the pictures, and found one that just seemed like “the one” based on what the shelter said. They gave all three of these cats the distinction “Lonely Hearts”, cats that for some reason just couldn’t find owners, and had been passed over time and time again.

Three days before I was due to meet her, my family called to say that she was gone off the shelter’s site! I was heartbroken, but investigating revealed that she had been moved to the shelter’s other location. We changed plans and went to meet her the next day. She was very sad and scared, stuck in quarantine due to a “Kitty Cold” outbreak near her. We spent only a few minutes with her and wondered if we had made the right choice picking her.

This cat is the most adoring, curious, smart, loving and adorable I have seen. She is the highlight of our day, and did I mention smart? Seriously, she learns so fast you wonder if it’s a fluke! Don’t get me wrong it’s not all sunshine and roses, but even her “quirks” are becoming a part of our love for her (and her for us!). She cracks us up with her “lady-like” behavior and even looks like she walks in high heels! I feel bad for whoever had to give her up, but adopting her is the best decision we’ve made in a long time. Their loss was most definitely our gain, and she continues to amaze and amuse us each and every day. Jessica’s Heart is most definitely not Lonely anymore!

We got our oldest boy Squirt from a shelter, he was covered in mange and almost bald. No one wanted him but we did. He was supposed to be a lab mix but they didn’t say mixed with what. What we got was a lab/great dane mix who became the love of our lives. A year later my father passed away and needless to say I was heart broken. One day while shopping for groceries a man tapped me on the shoulder and asked if I would like another dog. His family couldn’t support her anymore and he saw that I was purchasing dog food and hoped that we could give her a good home. Lola came into our lives when we needed her the most. She was our sunshine just as Squirt was our cuddle buddy. Having them both around helped me through the dark times, the sadness and the loss of one of the greatest men I’ve ever known. Several months later after my husband and I were married we lost my grandmother. In one year our lives had been devastated and my Squirt and my Lola were there as always to keep my grounded, loved and healing. One day while driving to see my mother my husband calls and says that a little lab puppy has showed up at the place he works at with no collar, no tags. They had asked around and she had no owner. Mattie, like Lola came into our lives when we needed her the most. I honestly don’t know what I would have done without my rescue Labs, they have become the center of our lives and I don’t know what we would have done without them.

My husband & I started looking for a GSD to rescue on Petfinder In March of 2006. Within moments he said, “Call on that one I want that one!” I made the call, filled out the application & within 2 days she was ours. Daley’s story isn’t that dramatic, but the loyalty is why I want to share it. Daley was dropped off at a GSD Rescue by a friend of her owner. She said Daley was too much work. Daley had a litter of puppies in November & here it was March & she was being dumped. Daley was about 3.5 years old, never had any shots, never been to a vet, God only knows what happened to her puppies. The rescue spayed her, chipped her and fully vetted her.. and then charged us a small $200 fee to adopt her.

She knew all the basic commands, walked great on a leash and is absolutely beautiful! I always thought she was large for a female, at 11 years she’s about 94 lbs. We kept her name “Daley”, it only seemed fair to her. From day 1, she became my husband’s shadow. We make jokes about how she’s an appendage to him! In this picture, Dad fell asleep on the couch & as Daley always does, she got as close to her Daddy as she could. She’s been a great Momma to 2 other puppies we’ve rescued, she’s a fantastic dog. At 11 years old, I feel a tug at my heart every time I see her & my husband out in the yard, or snuggled up on the couch, because my poor hubby is going to be heartbroken eventually when she has to leave us.

I know you hear very dramatic stories of rescues and although ours is not that dramatic it’s a perfect example of how you CAN adopt the perfect dog from a shelter or rescue. Why would anyone get rid of this perfect dog? It’s ALWAYS been as if Daley knows we saved her & in return she’s saved us, We love you Daley Girl!

Pint-sized Chihuahua helps save girl during pit bull attack

An eight-year-old Chilliwack girl who survived a vicious pit bull attack last week may have a tiny Chihuahua to thank for her life.

Jenna, a Grade 3 student, was looking for bunnies outside her grandparents’ east Chilliwack home last Tuesday when a neighbour’s pit bull escaped its enclosure and attacked her.

The dog took her down at the knees and clamped its powerful jaws on her face — resulting in serious facial injuries and hundreds of stitches. That’s when Honey, a four-year-old Chihuahua owned by Jenna’s grandmother Anne Marie Desrochers, intervened.

The small dog barked at the larger animal, distracting the pit bull from Jenna. The pit bull released the girl and pursued and briefly caught Honey before heading back toward Jenna. The pit bull was then collared by its owner, who had witnessed much of the attack and whose entry into the enclosure had provided the brief moment necessary for her dog to escape.

Honey’s barks brought Anne Marie to the door, where she saw Honey’s back covered in blood and spotted the neighbour with her granddaughter.

“My dog has bit Jenna,” the dog’s crying owner said.

Anne Marie ran over to her granddaughter and was shocked at the extent of her injuries.

“As soon as she moved her hand, I just screamed.”

Anne Marie rushed her granddaughter to Chilliwack General Hospital, where it took doctors three hours and hundreds of stitches to repair Jenna’s face. The girl faces more doctor’s visits and possibly plastic surgery if the initial repair job doesn’t hold.
