All Life Is Precious photo AllLifeIsPrecious_zps717c96cc.jpg

This Whole  thing makes me weep and mourn the loss of our  humanity.

I want  to be perfectly  clear.  I am  pro choice , however ,I  am not pro  murder  at the whim of an irresponsible  , self absorbed monster who has no respect  for life.  Abortion is not  birth  control, it is  to  be used in dire circumstances  under conditions and terms of  the  law  which  are  violated  by  people such as  this.

While  I  am a  firm  believer  that a  woman  has the  right  to  choose   that  does not  give  any  person the right  to do anything  as  heinous  as  this.  I  would never  personally choose abortion  as I  feel I could not live  with that  choice  personally.  However, I  do not believe  that  I  have  the  right  to choose for another   as is the  case  in  rape and  incest  victims.  To condemn a  woman  to  carry  out the  pregnancy   which   was  the result  of an  attack  is cruel and unusual  punishment making  that  woman  a  victim   twice.  I  do not  believe  that  anyone  has  the  right  to  impose  that  on  another  human  being.  We  must  each  make our choices  and live   with  their consequences  and the part  we  played in it.

Those calling for abortion to  be   illegal because   no one has the right  to  go through  with  an  abortion  would take  a  step back and judge not lest  you  be  judged.  When  society  does a better job   at  taking  care  of  all the unwanted  children  that  we  already  have  and  no one  even  gives a  second  thought   to .  When instead  of condemning  a  young girl who has made a mistake, she  is  taken in and  counseled and  nurtured  then  perhaps  society  can  have a  say . But  not  until then.  For you to pass  judgment then  you  must  first  walk a  mile in their  shoes.  Some out there have  absolutely  no idea  what  other less  fortunate   human  beings  have  to  live through.  Until you  do  , you  don’t get  a say  in  what they  need to  do  to  live it.  Unless  you are planning  to  step in and  help!

That  being  said, those of  you   who have  waited  till  you are   7months  pregnant to   go  through  with  an abortion  should be put in  jail.  You  had  7 months to  think about  it , to  allow that   child to  grow  inside your  body  , to  feel it  move inside you  and   you  still believe  it  is  something  that  needs  to  be  removed  and thrown  out like so much  garbage?

At  7  months it is not only   ILLEGAL to   perform  an  abortion  it  is  IMMORAL and  REPREHENSIBLE.

How  dare  you?

How dare  anyone   think that they have  the  right  to  take a life in this manner and  walk  away with no consequences.  You  had  the  opportunity  to use   birth control and opted out  or it  failed (it  happens).  But  you  also had  ample time to  understand  what  needed  to be  done  if you truly cannot have that  child.

What  were  you  doing   in those   7 months that  was  so  important  that  you  could not  do the responsible thing?

What  in the  world  could  have  been  so important?

To those  performing  the abortion what  kind of  uncaring  unfeeling monster  are you to take a child that is  alive  , breathing  and completely  helpless and  do something like this?

To  treat that  small baby  like it  did  not matter.

Dear  God and we wonder  why  we  are  in  the  situation  we  are in?

Only an  unfeeling uncaring Monster  with  no  heart  could do something like this  and  feel no  remorse……

I like  to believe  that  there  is   good in all people and  it  is stories like this  that  make me think I  am so  very   wrong.  There is   so  much  apathy  and disregard  for  life  in this society.  One  life not as worthy as the  next   depending  on   who you are and  what  level of  society  you  come from.  Self righteous screamers  and  utterances  of curses and punishments who  are   at the  ready  to point  out  the faults  of  others  but  are blinded  to their own  lack of faith in  what  is  expected of  them.  When we  are taught  to love  our  neighbors as  we  love  ourselves , it  did not  say unless they  are poor, raped, imperfect,or  sinners.  It is  not your  job  to   judge  , it is  your   job to be there  to  help pick up the  pieces  and  make this  world a better  place.  Last  I  checked  pointing  fingers  and  yelling insults did not make the  world  a better  place.

Laws  are in place   and   they  need  to be   enforced. Why are they  not  being   enforced?  These  are  crimes  as  real as  the ones committed  at the Boston Marathon.

Why are law  enforcement and FBI not all over this?

This  is a hypocritical issue  everyone pulling   in their  respective  direction and  no one  really  addressing the  problems that   bring it  about.  A little more love  and  care  and   a  lot less   accusations  and  judgement  would go a  very  long  way  in that  respect…….

Rep. Diane Black (R-Tenn.) (AP)

(CNSNews.com) – Rep. Diane Black (R-Tenn.) took to the House floor on Wednesday, condemning the late-term abortionist Kermit Gosnell, saying, “May God forgive us.”

Black also blasted President Barack Obama for not speaking out against the “house of horrors” abortion clinic run by Gosnell, who would sever the spinal cords of babies with scissors after they had survived late-term abortion procedures.

“Mr. Speaker, I stand here today outraged and deeply saddened by the heartbreaking story of the abortion Doctor Kermit Gosnell,” said Black.  “This is the man currently on trial for the murder of eight people, seven of which were newborns who were killed after surviving late-term botched abortions in his house of horrors clinic.”

“But Gosnell didn’t act alone,” she said.  “He had a host of silent co-conspirators who referred women to his practice knowing full well of the horrors that went on behind those closed doors.  And, meanwhile, the State boards gave Gosnell a free pass for 17 years by failing to inspect his clinic.”

Gosnell, 72, is currently on trial for the murder of four babies born alive and a mother, who overdosed at his clinic the Women’s Medical Society in West Philadelphia.  Gosnell was originally charged with seven counts of first-degree murder, but Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas Judge Jeffrey P. Minehart dropped three of the charges onWednesday, apparently concluding that the prosecution did not present enough evidence that the babies in those cases were “not viable,” or born alive.

Gosnell is also facing charges of infanticide, conspiracy, abortion at 24 or more weeks, theft, corruption of minors, solicitation and other related offenses.  The six-week long trial is set to conclude on Monday, with closing arguments after Gosnell’s defense rested on Wednesday, without offering any witnesses. Gosnell did not take the stand.

Rep. Black also condemned President Obama for not speaking out against Gosnell who, according to the grand jury in the case, had killed “hundreds” of babies over the years by snipping their spinal cords.

“When asked about Gosnell’s crime, our president tells us he has no comment,” Black said.  “Where is your outrage, Mr. President?”

Gosnell Trial Witness: Baby Abortion Survivor Was ‘Swimming’ in Toilet ‘Trying to Get Out’

gosnellDr. Kermit Gosnell, charged with 7 counts of first-degree murder, killing babies reportedly born alive at his abortion office in West Philadelphia, Pa. (AP)

(CNSNews.com) – On the last day of testimony before the prosecution rests in the murder trial of abortionist Kermit Gosnell, a former worker at Gosnell’s clinic testified that she saw one late-term baby who survived an abortion “swimming” in a toilet and “trying to get out.”

Kareema Cross, a “medical assistant” who worked at Gosnell’s Women’s Medical Society clinic for four-and-a-half years, testified in a Philadelphia court today, telling of the horrors of babies who survived abortions only to have their necks snipped with scissors.

“Did you ever see those babies move?” asked Prosecutor Joanne Pescatore.

“Yes, once in the toilet,” said Cross.

The baby “was like swimming,” she said.  “Basically, trying to get out.”

Adrienne Moton, an employee at the clinic, then took the baby and snipped the back of its neck while the mother was still in the room.

Cross told the jury that when Shayquana Abrams came into the clinic in July 2008 she was pregnant, “and she was big.”

“That was the largest baby I ever saw,” Cross said.

When the baby was born alive, Abrams was sleeping.  Cross said Dr. Gosnell took the baby boy, which she described as 12 to 18 inches long, and put him inside a plastic container the size of a shoebox.

“The baby was still breathing,” she said.  “He didn’t cut the neck right there.”

The baby was too big for the plastic container, with his arms and legs hanging over the sides.

“The Doctor cut the back of the baby’s neck but didn’t do suction—normally Dr. Gosnell would do suction … to suck the brains out,” Cross said.

“I called people over to come see it [the baby] and we took pictures,” she said.

The baby boy had curled himself into the fetal position and laid on his side in the box.  An image of the baby taken by Cross was shown to the court, showing him laying lifeless on his side.  (the photo of the infant, Baby A, is included in the Grand Jury Report and is posted in this article.)

“It was supposed to go upstairs in the freezer, but it was still there the next day because the janitor complained,” Cross added.

New Sperm Gene Discovery Could Lead to Male Birth Control

Published on May 25, 2012 by

Women have many options when it comes to birth control, while men don’t have any. But all that could change.

Researchers have discovered a gene that is essential to the production of sperm.

Scientists at the University of Edinburgh found that the gene, called Katnal1, causes temporary infertility in male mice when blocked.

The team gave mice a chemical called ENU that triggers genetic mutations. They then bred the mice to see if any of them became infertile, isolated the impotent mice, and backtracked through their genetic code to identify which gene was disrupted by ENU.

The team identified that Katnal1 is used to regulate a structure known as microtubules, which are the parts of sperm needed for nutrients and support.

According to the study, this gene could be key in developing birth control for men, and better understanding male infertility.

With this key bit of information, scientists say a non-hormonal contraceptive for men may be just five to 10 years away.

Discover the super-food power of noni

By PF Louis,
(NaturalNews) You may have seen ads promoting noni juice or heard about its health benefits and wondered if it’s for real. Hopefully, this article will shed some light on the subject of noni. Most of the hype comes from multi-level marketing (MLM) providers. Their product is usually the most expensive and most processed. Those noni juices are often first pureed, sometime frozen, and then sent off to be liquefied from concentrate. Usually they are flavored or sweetened. Pure noni juice isn’t…

Fructose makes you stupid; DHA makes you smart

Rats were trained to solve a maze and then given either a diet with omega-3 fats (DHA and flax seed oil) or one deficient in omega-3 fats. Each group was further divided into those also fed fructose in their drinking water or not. The group that was fed the fructose showed impairment of memory and took a longer time to solve the maze than prior to eating fructose. Those fed an omega…

Natural mosquito repellents

The faint buzzing reminds us of those pesky pricks we receive when we least expect it. Soon thereafter the itching and swelling begins as our bodies react to the foreign attack. Sometimes deadly, the mosquito bite is more of a nuisance than anything. The itch and swelling can last anywhere from a couple of days to a few weeks. As with health, in order to avoid mosquito bites,…

Why is This Dangerous Infection on the Rise in Pets?

Posted By: Dr. Becker

pets, dog, catThe staphylococcus aureus bacteria is a normal strain of bacteria your pet normally harbors (as do people). It’s found on your dog’s or cat’s skin, mucous membranes, urogenital and gastrointestinal tracts.

When this normal bacteria undergoes a genetic mutation, it can become a pet’s worst nightmare. Instead of being a normal part of your pet’s healthy bacteria it can cause life threatening infection due to its resistance to even the strongest antibiotics, such as Methicillin. These infections are called Methicillin-resistant staphylococcus aureus, or “MRSA infections,”and are resistant to most antibiotic treatments.

As a result, they can lead to serious illness and even death.

Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) is a serious public health problem that is getting progressively worse and actually exacts a greater human death toll than “modern plagues” like AIDS.

Unfortunately, MRSA infections are also on the rise in our companion animals.

Typically, staph bacteria are relatively harmless. If the bacteria enter your pet’s body through a cut, it may cause an infection (staph bacteria is a common cause of skin infections) but even these are typically mild and can be easily treated. But unlike typical staph bacteria, MRSA is much more dangerous because it has become resistant to the broad-spectrum antibiotics commonly used to treat it, such as methicillin, oxacillin, penicillin and amoxicillin.

Why MRSA Poses a Threat to Your Dog or Cat

Antibiotics are one of the top two drugs prescribed by traditional veterinarians (steroids are the other).

As a holistic veterinarian, I am convinced antibiotics are over prescribed to the point of abuse in many conventional veterinary offices. Over prescribing antibiotics can set your pet up for a future allergic reaction to the drug. But worse, frequent and often unnecessary use of these drugs is causing antibiotic resistance in a growing number of bacteria strains.

When antibiotics are no longer effective against serious bacterial infections, life-threatening consequences are the result. MRSA is an example of a serious and sometimes fatal staph infection that is antibiotic resistant.

Your Pet’s Good Health Begins in Their Gut

By: Dr. Becker

Carnivores, omnivores and herbivores.

Chances are, the pets you care for fall into one of these three categories. And each type of pet has distinct nutritional needs.

It’s important to remember that no matter what your personal beliefs about food, you can’t change the DNA of your pets. They were designed by nature to consume certain types of food.

The Logic of Nature

Rabbits and horses are herbivores, or vegetarians.

They have very large front teeth (called incisors) to grasp vegetation. Their jaws shift from side to side to grind grasses and fibrous plant material on their large, flat molars.

The long gastrointestinal (GI) tracts of herbivores are designed to ferment these foodstuffs into usable nutrition.

Omnivores, such as bearded dragons, for example, are designed to chew and process both meat protein (insects) and plant material.

Dogs, cats and snakes are carnivores, with sharp, interlocking teeth designed to grasp prey.

Cats and snakes are obligate carnivores, which means they must consume a meat diet to maintain health, whereas dogs are scavenging carnivores, who, in addition to a meat based diet, can consume other types of foods without dire consequences.

By nature’s design, rabbits and horses were never intended to consume meat. Dogs and cats were not designed to eat or digest grains. So, as you would expect, when you feed your dog and cat companions foods they were not designed to eat, you’re asking for trouble.

But before we get to exactly what happens when your companions consume biologically inappropriate foods, you must understand two key points to overall health for people and animals alike:

  • The gastrointestinal system must be healthy to avoid disease.
  • The GI tract is the body’s number one barrier to disease and disease processes.

One Simple Step to Radically Boost Your Pet’s Immune System

By: Dr. Becker

pets, dogAt long last, the benefit of probiotics for your companion animals is receiving the attention it deserves in the traditional veterinary community.

Probiotic therapy has been scientifically studied and proved beneficial in the treatment of pets with diarrhea, inflammatory bowel disease, chronic renal disease, and pancreatitis.

Just as exciting are studies which indicate probiotics positively influence the development and health of your dog’s or cat’s immune system function.

According to Susan G. Wynn, DVM, of the Department of Small Animal Clinical Sciences, University of Tennessee:

“… it is increasingly clear that manipulation of the ecology of the gastrointestinal tract has powerful systemic effects. Use of probiotics clearly enhances immune function in a number of species, including dogs and cats, and appears to have a role in the treatment of animals with certain gastrointestinal conditions.”

Dr. Wynn goes on to say the use of probiotics in humans in the treatment of recurrent urinary tract infections, the prevention and management of allergies, and other conditions, suggests further potential benefits for our four-legged companions.

The bad news? Unfortunately, the value of many commercially available probiotic products is questionable, at best. Read on to learn more about quality variations in probiotic products and what you can do to insure you’re giving your dog or cat a high-quality supplement.

Legislation may enable states to offer universal healthcare

healthcare

A number of studies have concluded that state-run insurance systems would be cheaper for most people on an out-of-pocket basis than existing private insurance plans. (Chris O’Meara, Associated Press / April 27, 2012)

By David Lazarus

Universal coverage, Medicare for all, single payer — call it what you will. It’s clear that conservative forces are determined to prevent such a system from ever being introduced at the national level. So it’s up to the states.

The catch is that to make universal coverage work at the state level, you’d need some way to channel Medicare, Medicaid and other federal healthcare funds into the system. At the moment, that’s difficult if not impossible.

But legislation quietly being drafted by Rep. Jim McDermott (D-Wash.) would change that. It would create a mechanism for states to request federal funds after establishing their own health insurance programs.

If passed into law — admittedly a long shot with Republicans controlling the House of Representatives — McDermott’s State-Based Universal Healthcare Act would represent a game changer for medical coverage in the United States.

It would, for the first time, create a system under which a Medicare-for-all program could be rolled out on a state-by-state basis. In California’s case, it would make coverage available to the roughly 7 million people now lacking health insurance.

“This is a huge deal,” said Jamie Court, president of Consumer Watchdog, a Santa Monica advocacy group. “This is a lifeline for people who want to create a Medicare system at the state level.”

I learned of McDermott’s bill after getting my hands on documents he had sent to other members of Congress seeking support for the legislation.

McDermott’s office confirmed that the documents and legislation are real but declined to make the congressman available for comment until the bill is formally introduced, which could happen as soon as next week.

Kinsey Kiriakos, a spokesman for McDermott, said by email that the bill is intended to advance the goals of President Obama‘s healthcare reform law, which would extend coverage to about 30 million of the 50 million people nationwide without insurance.

The reform law is now under scrutiny by the U.S. Supreme Court, primarily because of its requirement that most people buy health insurance or face a modest tax penalty.

McDermott’s bill “is based on the congressman’s belief that the Affordable Care Act will be upheld and the congressman’s new bill is meant to achieve the overall goals of the Affordable Care Act while giving states the option to build an alternative single-payer system,” Kiriakos said.

California came close to building such a system in 2006 and again in 2008 when the Legislature passed bills laying the groundwork for statewide universal coverage. Then-Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger vetoed both bills.

The Fed Isn’t Providing Monetary Morphine; Its Spreading Financial Cancer That Is Killing the Markets And Democratic Capitalism In General

Preventing the Fall of Rome

Gar Alperovitz, Op-Ed:

How far continuing financial and political pressures may lead other officials to attempt to secure revenues by selling off public assets is an open question. Public resistance to such strategies, although less widely publicized, has been surprisingly strong in many areas. Toll road sales have been held up in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, and newly elected Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel recently voiced his opposition to an attempt to privatize Midway Airport as previously attempted by Daley.

Senate Bill Could Roll Back Consumers’ Health Insurance Savings

Lena Groeger, News Report:

This is the first year that companies are required to send out rebates. According to a report by state insurance commissioners, if rebates had been handed out last year, insurers would have had to pay consumers almost $2 billion. If they had carved out the broker fees, as proposed in the two current bills, consumers would have gotten only about $800 million. The rebates have gotten relatively modest attention. Only 38 percent of the public is even aware of the rule’s existence, according to a Kaiser poll.

Panetta Disarms Marines in Afghanistan Amid Fears of Possible Rogue Marine Shooting

Uploaded by ObamaBC on Mar 14, 2012

It has been denied that Secretary of Defense Panetta’s disarming of Marines in Afghanistan March 14 had anything to do with a rogue Army sniper’s killing of sixteen Afghan civilians earlier in the week, but many are calling the move highly unusual, and one source states disarming Marines in a combat zone is contrary to military protocol. Approximately two hundred Marines were told to leave their weapons outside a tent while listening to Panetta’s speech, but many state disarming the Marines will lead to a morale problem due to a high official distrusting his own troops. Sources state the Marines felt uncomfortable being without their weapons in what is essentially a war zone. What many considered a rush to judgement given the the rogue U.S. sniper’s history of PTSD and TBI (traumatic brain injury), Leon Panetta had stated almost immediately that the soldier could face the death penalty. This was odd and hypocritical to many, given that many feel the Obama administration ostensibly armed drug cartels with Fast and Furious weapons that were used to kill hundreds of Mexican citizens, and at least two U.S. citizens, Border Patrol agent Brian Terry and ICE agent Jaime Zapata, and no one has called for the death penalty in these cases, let alone actual charges being filed.

Foreclosure Victim Wins $18 Million as Part of Federal Mortgage Settlement

Travis Waldron, News Report:

“Fraudulent foreclosures have reached near-pandemic levels since the collapse of the housing market. At banks like Wells Fargo, JPMorgan Chase, and Bank of America, fraudulent practices like robo-signing were approved by upper-level management, and employees with no banking experience were given vice-president level titles so they could sign foreclosure documents (one Wells Fargo ‘Vice President’ came to the bank from a pizza restaurant).”
